Hello, my name is Jennifer Sharman, a watercolour and mixed media artist based in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. I was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, where I developed a love for drawing and painting as a child. My mother was an oil painter, but I preferred the expressive and fluid medium of watercolour. In my late teens and up until my early 20s I focused on painting old outback farm buildings and derelict houses. I began studying at the South Australian School of Art but cut this short after getting married and starting a family. I decided to focus on family instead.

Fast forward to today, I have a new husband, a new life in Vienna and more time to pursue artistic endeavours. Inspired by the culture and beauty around me in Vienna, I have re-emerged as a watercolour and mixed media artist, with a focus on colourful and expressive abstract art.

I infuse my artwork with ideas that capture the feelings of joy and passion, creating vibrant and dynamic pieces that inspire the imagination. Whether it's a bold abstract painting, mixed media collage or lino cut print.

Despite taking a break for many years, I never lost my love for creativity and found new ways to express myself. I hope my story is an inspiration to anyone who has ever put their dreams on hold, reminding us that it's never too late to pursue passions and create something meaningful.
